Big bag filling stations

Big bag filling stations are used to fill large bags of materials and products. The products can be process intermediates that are transferred to an interim warehouse to await final processing, or the final product delivered to the customer. The big bag filling station does not necessarily have to be equipped with weighing sensors, if the filling level of the bag can also be determined differently.

Big bag unloading

We design and manufacture big bag unloading stations for various industries and materials. The stations can be equipped with auxiliary equipment such as lumb breakers and pneumatic pressing devices to ensure complete bag discharging for all materials. Additionally, to ensure more consistent material flow, an intermediate hopper can be added.

During desing and manufacturing we always put effort to acknowledge work ergonomy and safety and we enable a dust free working environment with a closed system structure. For different sized big bags and their unloading spouts, we offer a variety of suitable discharging heads with various head sealing solutions.

If required, the station can be accompanied with weighing sensors and a weighing terminal to enable more information to be collected to factory automation and higher level corporate systems.

For example: fertilizers, animal feed, flakes, cereals, sugar, metallurgical concentrates (copper, nickel, zinc, cobalt, etc.), wood pellets, floor screeds, cement, circulating products, soil, peat, etc.

Big bag weighing scales for commercial and non-commercial purposes

The scale is in commercial use when the weighing result is used to determine the price of a product or service. The structure and operation of the scale must meet certain criteria, which are determined by laws, directives and many other standards. The design and implementation of scale-related automation is not as straightforward as in the case of a non-commercial scale. The design of a commercial scale therefore requires a different level of expertise than the basic process scale in order to meet the legal requirements.

Commercial weighing

Where the scale produces a weighing slip according to which the customer is billed:

• in specific weights (eg 1000 kg ± 50 g)
• in non-specific weights (eg 997 kg ± 50 g, 1001.8 kg ± 50 g), so big bags weigh about 1000 kg.

Non-commercial weighing

Where the balance produces a weighing document but is not acceptable as a billing basis.

Big bag weighing scale modernization

We also do modernizations of older big bagging scales into modern automatic bagging stations. After the change, it must comply with the EU type-examination certificate and the sensors must have a test certificate. Contact us when it is time to modernize or repair an old big bag scale.
